Note: You do not have to be a singer or even be able to carry a tune to do sound healing work. As an energy expert and highly sensitive intuitive, Susan maintains a grounded and comfortable space to support all participants no matter where they are in their healing work.

Join vocal sound healer and compassionate facilitator Susan DuMett for a special workshop on using the tones and frequencies of your own voice to heal and empower yourself and others. The human voice evokes a special resonance of recognition and validation of the body, in the psyche, and in the nervous system, which can be especially powerful for those doing personal healing work. In fact, the vibrations of your own voice are intrinsic medicine you can access at all times. Through gentle, yet incredibly cathartic group soundings and individual exercises you’ll discover the sound of your own medicine and experience your own voice as a way to reduce stress, gain greater emotional balance, break up energetic blocks, and call in energy that supports your ongoing healing and well-being.  
 
Specific things we'll cover:
  • Wisdom from both ancient and modern cultures on delivering magic and medicine through sound.
  • How sounding can helps heal deep trauma and open new aspects of yourself.
  • Sounding through any fear or blocks around using your voice.
  • Giving voice to things that you don’t have words for.
  • Specific sounds and unique sound forms to calm and soothe, as well as break up energetic blocks, and facilitate transformation and healing.
  • How to honor and use your intuition to sound and say what’s needed.
  • How to consciously direct vocal vibrational resonance.
  • The relationship of specific sounds to your core energy centers and other aspects of your body.
  • Voice practices you can use at home to support your ongoing evolution.
  • Voice practices you can use to support healing and resonance with others.

Who is this for? This workshop offers a powerful supplement to people working on their own personal growth and confidence in their voice. It also serves as a comprehensive foundation class for those interested in vocal sound healing to work with clients.
